Fees & control
Do you add a markup to supplier prices?
No. We charge a separately agreed service fee and share original supplier quotations without adding a margin to the goods price. Third-party expenses are disclosed separately and require your approval.
Do you receive supplier commissions or rebates?
No. We do not accept supplier commissions, rebates or undisclosed benefits. Potential conflicts and connected supplier relationships must be disclosed before recommendation.
Who contracts with and pays the supplier?
Normally, you contract with and pay the supplier directly. Our service invoice is separate. Any different arrangement needs its own written scope and a review of payment, title, tax and import responsibilities.
Can we contact suppliers directly?
Yes. Supplier identities are visible and you may communicate directly. Copy the project lead on decisions so that specifications, approvals and action records remain current.
Services
Can you help before a tender has been issued?
Yes. We can research suitable products and technologies, compare application advantages and limitations, and organise technical and supply information for your project discussions. Recommendations must be supported by evidence and relevant to the actual application.
Can you coordinate different products and suppliers?
Yes, within a scope agreed after reviewing the categories and requirements. We coordinate item specifications, interfaces, quantities, schedules, documents and shipment preparation. Specialist categories may require separately appointed technical support.
Can you work with our existing Chinese suppliers?
Yes. You do not have to replace an established supplier to use our support. We agree the contacts, information access and specific tasks before starting.
Which product areas does your procurement experience cover?
Our government procurement experience covers electrical power materials and equipment, pumps and valves, water treatment, solar PV, instrumentation, machinery and spare parts, vehicles, ICT and medical equipment. This experience supports the coordination of mixed purchasing lists and suppliers across different industries. Each new engagement is assessed for technical competence, product requirements, authorisations and destination-specific conditions before acceptance. Specialist input is arranged where needed.
Quality & documents
How do you check technical specifications?
We organise supplier responses against the agreed requirement baseline, record deviations and missing evidence, and carry approved specifications into purchasing and inspection planning. Models, materials, dimensions, configuration and performance are checked as applicable to the product and scope.
What does certificate checking include?
Three distinct checks: document completeness; matching of the entity, manufacturer, model, standard, scope and validity; and confirmation through an official registry or issuing body where accessible. Unresolved information remains unresolved. A management-system certificate is not a product approval, and an authentic certificate does not prove that all delivered goods conform.
Do you guarantee that every product is defect-free?
No blanket guarantee is given. Suppliers remain responsible for product conformity and their contractual warranties. We are responsible for the procurement management services we undertake. Inspection scope, tests, acceptance criteria and the handling of discrepancies are agreed for each project.
Is a video review a complete inspection?
No. Video can show selected visible conditions but cannot replace required measurements, tests or a complete inspection. Sampling methods are agreed for the product and contract; AQL is not applied automatically to all industrial equipment.
Logistics & timing
Do you coordinate international logistics?
Yes, where included in the scope. We can coordinate packing, consolidation, forwarder quotations, shipping documents and handover. The contracting carrier, insurer and importer retain their separately agreed responsibilities.
Are freight and destination charges included?
Only when expressly listed. Quotations identify the delivery term and named place, covered costs, assumptions and exclusions. An ex-factory product price is not presented as an all-in delivered price.
Can you guarantee the delivery date?
We plan backwards from the required destination date, track production and shipment milestones, and report risks and recovery options. Supplier, transport and clearance commitments must be confirmed for the specific project. We do not make an unconditional end-to-end delivery promise.
Working together
How do you charge for ongoing support?
We use a defined project scope or monthly support arrangement with named outputs and an effort cap. We do not automatically charge a percentage of purchasing value or promise unlimited work. A paid engagement starts only after written acceptance and the agreed payment.
What does the free first review include?
Choose one: an initial supplier and quotation review for one product; a public-information check of one supplier; or an initial Chinese-product or alternative feasibility review. The limit is four staff hours and one consolidated clarification round. Results depend on scope and available responses; three qualified factories are not guaranteed.
How do you protect drawings and customer information?
We can agree an NDA before receiving sensitive information, record disclosure permissions and limit supplier access to what is needed for the task. Share only information you are authorised to disclose. Storage, retention and any data-transfer requirements are agreed before project use.
What happens if something goes wrong?
We record the issue and evidence, identify affected work, coordinate containment and corrective action, and put cost, schedule or specification decisions to you. Supplier remedies depend on the purchase contract. We remain accountable for our own agreed services.
